My name is Devante McFarlane! I’m a photographer, filmmaker, and journalist born and based in St. Louis.

I graduated from Saint Louis University with my degree in communication, with a concentration in journalism and media studies. I now work at Nine PBS as an associate producer, working to tell engaging stories people and events in the St. Louis region.

Outside of my work at Nine PBS, I do freelance photography and videography in my free time.

I specialize in many different genres of photography including event, portrait, editorial/fashion, and more. Within my filmmaking, my goal is to direct stories centered around humor, love, and the absurdities of everyday life.
